The purpose of this usability test is to evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy search and booking feature that we are introducing to Kaiser. The feature aims to allow existing members to search for therapists, view therapists’ information, and book an appointment.
The objective of this usability test is to identify any major issues, gather information from the user experience, and identify areas for improvement in the therapy search and booking feature. The information, feedback, and insights gathered from this test will be used to refine and optimize the feature so that it better meets the needs of Kaiser members.
Introductions
Hello! Thank you for agreeing to participate in this usability test for Kaiser Permanente's new therapy search and booking feature. The purpose of this test is to gather your feedback on the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of the feature. Your feedback will help us improve the feature and make it better suited to the needs of Kaiser members.
Today, we will be testing three aspects of the new feature: navigating to view a therapist's information, scheduling a session with an existing assigned therapist, and locating a specific therapist on the Kaiser member website. During the usability test, we encourage you to speak verbally about your process so that we can gain further clarity on your user experience. Please note that this is to test the functionality of the feature, not the user.
To provide more context for the three aspects of the new feature we are testing today, we will provide you with a scenario that ties in each task you may complete.
Before we begin, may I have your permission to record this session today?
Once again, thank you for your time and participation.
